The 11th Annual Conference of China Hospital CEO, the largest event in the field of domestic medical management, was held in Zhuhai International Convention & Exhibition Center on November 3-5, 2017. The theme of this conference is 'Differentiation and Evolution, Deconstructing the New Medical Economy', with the purposes of deconstructing the new medical economy and seeking new momentums for medical development.
Professor Li Yumin, Vice President of Lanzhou University and Dean of School of Medicine, was invited to attend the opening ceremony and theme dialogue of this session, and served as a guest of honor to award “The 10th Huaren Cup Innovation Achievement Award for the Most Leading Chinese Hospital CEO”. In the theme dialogue, Li Yumin shared the steadfastness and original intention, and the career and life of hospital CEOs, pragmatically discussed the development law of the contemporary medical industry, and profoundly interpreted the theme “Differentiation and Evolution: Deconstructing the New Medical Economy”. From the point of view of the entire medical market, all hospitals need to find their own resource advantages, and choose the unique, accomplished and differentiated development path with characteristics. Such differentiation is reflected in the multi-dimensional infiltration of medical models, from disciplines to sub-disciplines, from macro-medical care to micro-medical care, from empiricism medicine to precision medicine, and also in the specialty differentiation, boundary evolution and model evolution of hospital construction and operation. In combination with the advent of the new age of the 19th CPC National Congress, he also made a profound analysis of the new change, new trend, and new direction in China’s medical industry, indicating that hospitals would face new medical operations and challenges to medical economy brought by new technologies such as big data, Internet, gene sequencing, and Internet of Things, that the competition among hospitals would be a competition for connotation building, and that new values and new cultural development would become new features of hospitals in the new era.
The conference attracted over 7000 participants, and set up 1 main forum and 44 sub-forums to provide a high-level exchange platform for governments, medical institutions, hospital managements at all levels, experts and scholars to express their opinions and discuss development.
