Alumni majored in clinical medicine in 1973 gathered at Lanzhou University
- On July 13, alumni of Lanzhou University majored in clinical medicine returned to their alma mater. In the conference room in Xinglin Building in the medical campus, a “seminar for alumni majored in clinical medicine in 1973” was held. More than 160 alumni who were over 60 years old recalled the past in the light of the present and memorized the friendship. The President Wang Cheng, and the Vice President and Dean of the School of Medicine Li Yumin, the original professors and directors of students in 1973 attended the seminar.
Wang Cheng, on behalf of Lanzhou University, expressed his warm welcome to all the alumni. He introduced the development of the university in terms of personnel training, discipline construction, scientific research and international exchanges and cooperation in recent years, and the efforts made and plans for promoting the development of “Double First-class” university and strengthening the discipline construction of medicine. Wang Cheng also expressed his thanks to all the alumni for their support to Lanzhou University over the years, and sincerely hoped that that could continue to support and pay attention to the development of Lanzhou University.
The professor Cao Hexun, the directors Wang Qijia and Fan Shengyao who served in 1973 made speeches and gave their wishes to the alumni.
Jing Zhimin made a speech on behalf of the alumni, reviewed the study life in the school and expressed their gratitude to the alma mater and professors for their gracious training.
The persons in charge of the School Office, the Office of Alumni Association, the School of Medicine, the School of Basic Medical Sciences attended the seminar.
